New baby, new thank you cards. This time I used Optimalprint and they turned out good and the price was okay. I have used moo.com quite a bit before and they are still my favorite but when I need 50+ copies it gets kinda spendy because of the taxes.

The little raindeer is from Accessorize and photos on the thank you cards are by Stine.

365 project

In 2005 I started my 365 project with one photo per day printed out and glued into my scrap book. Somewhere down the road I realized I couldn’t keep it up so I started a daily family blog instead. So much easier to do it online (since I am online daily anyway). Not to mention the chance for grandparents etc to follow our daily life.  There is something about the hard copy though so I was quite pleased when I found Blurb’s blog book version – just upload the blog into a book format and do as much or as little formatting you like and then have it printed. Now I keep making hard copies of my 365 project (and the best X-mas gift for the grandparents!)

80’s name mug

My eldest daughter’s name is Ellen so you can imagine I was quite thrilled when I found these name mugs the other day! And since there is no Martin in my house the Martin mug is now for sale in my karius shop . Update: SOLD!

 

Skedsmo Kunstforenings medlemsutstilling 2011

Velkommen til åpning av Skedsmo Kunstforenings medlemsutstilling 2011, Skedsmo rådhus lørdag 15.januar 2011 kl 13! Jeg deltar med tre mixed media bilder i formatet 20x20 cm (850 kr stk). Teknikkene jeg har brukt er akrylmaling, kullstift og trykk.

opp ei låvebru og inn ei dør – hannes hjerterom

Jeg har lyst å vise dere fine butikker i Lillestrøm og omegn, tidligere har jeg vist I like . Denne gangen er det Hannes Hjerterom på gården Sørum Vestre på Kjeller. Butikken som ligger i en gammel oppusset låve inneholder klær og vesker med kule tekster designet av innehaver Hanne, samt mye annet fint fra spennende merker; Noa Noa, CULTURE, Maggie Wonka, Pulz, AneMone, Inspiration by Laa og Lovely Planet. Låven er verdt et besøk også for å se det morsomme interiøret med gamle detaljer fra gården i tillegg til alt det lekre som er til salgs! Og nå er det også januarsalg!

  

 
   

  

First 2011 signature

I am getting ready for the first 2011 showing of my art. Next Saturday is the opening of the Skedsmo Kunstforenings medlemstutstilling at Skedsmo rådhus. I am showing three pieces, but haven’t quite decided on which three yet... Here is a sneak peak of what I have been working on the past few days:
