Happy new year everyone!
Maybe the only evidence in my parents’ house that they once were hippies : )

…why I have a thingy for red and white mushrooms…
… and little ‘nisser’ (santas)
I am home visiting my parents and it is fun looking at the x-mas deco, not much changed the past 30 years, which is what I love about it, the same deco as from my childhood. I remember drinking coca cola from these:
And of course some of the early home made stuff, looks like the Jesus baby was popular… (the crib to the right is not bigger that half my thumb, no idea how I managed to make that!)
This is not x-mas deco but old dolls. I remember not liking this one, I think softies were more my thing. Now I think she is beautiful!
This is the dress baby Ellen got (and wore) for her 1st birthday party! It is made by Trine – Fru Petrell - (remember her lovely house?). The fabric is handpicked by me, new and old fabric I have collected over the years.
One of my favorite self made x-mas decorations:
Made from wooden “chips” used for tightening canvases, glued together and then painted.
It’s been a while since I took pictures around the house, but today we’ve had our first birthday for baby Ellen and the house was nice and tidy this morning and the lighting was quite good so it was a good time for a photo shoot. As x-mas is coming up you can also see some x-mas deco, but there will be more later…
My latest canvases, these are big! 100 x 150 cm! Love to work with large canvases.

Soon I am off to a girls’ weekend in Berlin : )
