new little friend…

…came to me last night. I’ve used oil pastel, acrylic paint and some glue on a 20x30 cm canvas.

A catch!

I am trying not to buy a lot of stuff these days and instead get rid of some, but this kettle I could not resist… and it costed me only 25 kr (4$)! Orange enamel and a really cute knob.

from Denmark

Back from my workshop in Denmark - and what a great experience! The workshop was worth the trip alone! So much fun, great people not to mention a lot of new inspiration and techniques. I brought home two canvases, one almost finished and one getting there. Hopefully I get to spend some time in the studio already tomorrow? I also brought home a couple of "souvenirs" from Århus, two little pieces by sweet Line.

As I am decorating baby Ellen's room these days I was very happy to see that the latest ROM123 had an extra magazine with children's rooms in it - very inspiring!

I really like the colors of this table from Åhlens, the table itself is a bit too big so maybe I'll just find a smaller one and paint it in these colors?

How to use t-shirt transfer on everything but t-shirts... I like.

InsideOut was in my mail yesterday, I'm saving it for my Denmark trip coming up in a few days!

Latest painting

Finished this one last night and it is now hanging in baby Ellen's nursery. Very much inspired by this painting I found on flickr.

This is not finished, I planned something completely different but I guess I'll work on this face.

...of my sister's new flower boxes, hand made by her father in law. Love them!

junk yard

on our way to the cabin this weekend we dropped by a junk yard in Skjeberg, this was a messy place (and when I think it is messy it has to be messy!) but I guess that means just more fun!
